Filter's have little to do with the flavor of a kretek. 1:3 ratio of tobacco and crushed cloves produces a comparable flavor to Djarums.Get whole cloves %26amp; separate the petals from the stem. Grind the stems finely, but leave petals mostly whole.Teas are good for soaking tobacco to get flavors too. Report Abuse
